When you book a First Birthday or Cake Smash session with Anna Wolanin Photography, you can expect a warm, relaxed, and fully guided experience from start to finish. I will help with planning the session styling, colours, and overall feel so everything reflects your family and your little one’s personality beautifully.

On the day of the session, there’s no pressure or rushing. The experience is designed to be fun and enjoyable for both babies and parents. We begin with a few clean, timeless portraits before moving into the cake smash itself, allowing plenty of time for natural reactions, playfulness, and all the lovely messy moments in between.

My goal is always to create a calm atmosphere where families can simply enjoy the milestone while I capture genuine smiles, expressions, and memories. After the session, families receive a carefully edited gallery filled with heartfelt images that celebrate this very special first birthday in a timeless way.

Stress-free planning and styling

Families don’t need to worry about organising decorations or the cake. I prepare the styling for the session and arrange a beautiful cake to match the chosen theme, making the whole experience easy and stress-free for parents.

I also have a selection of outfits available for most session themes, carefully chosen to photograph beautifully and complement the setup. Of course, families are always more than welcome to bring their own outfits or special pieces if they’d like to add a more personal touch to the session.
